    I have 100 New Years resolution that I never stuck with if anyone wants that list LOL~ We all have this list and unfortunately for most of us, it’s a list of failures rather than achievements. I say this every year, but I want to change my lazy ways this year. My two biggest goals are to watch less tv and to lose weight. Hopefully in the year 2014 I’ll look back to this year as the first year to successfully stick with my New Years resolutions.

    I wanna travel more this year and just enjoy life a little more. My friend’s grandma passed away recently and that got me thinking that you only live once. I try so hard to save more and to spend less, but for what really? Sure I need to be ready for the rainy days and sure I need to prepare for my retirement, but I can’t let life pass me by like this either. I need to find a good balance between enjoying my life and being responsible. I’ve been responsible all my life and so I’m going to enjoy life a little this year. That’s my New Years resolution.

    I’m just gonna make smart decisions with my money in 2015 so I don’t end up with an empty bank account:

    1) Paying off my debts as they come to me. Never holding a credit card balance longer than a month. If this means living in a small studio apartment and eating ramen, rice, and beans, so be it.

    2) I will always buy small, fuel efficient and durable cars. I drive a 2006 Honda Civic now. It costs me nothing to fill up and next to nothing to insure ($25/month from Insurance Panda… woohoo!). I will not drive when I don’t need to, and use public transportation whenever possible.

    3) Developing multiple revenue streams. Doing side jobs. Building up small businesses. Doing contract work. Basically doing whatever I can to generate income from multiple sources.

    4) Grow my revenue and assets no matter what. Make sure I am always expanding and develop them to the point that they consistently generate reliable cash flow.

    5) The most important one – make as much as I can. Save as much as I can.

    iPhones… cigs… Starbucks… Chipotle Burritos…new clothes.. organic lipgloss… expensive yoga classes. Why not try living in your means for once? No wonder we have a debt crisis

    I suggest to use simple goal trackers. My favorite is eXtrigo because it’s not only helps you to organize yourself but also provide valuable tips and insights which help you to achieve your goal in a better way based on previous experiences.

    Telling people to go off their drugs is dangerous. Sure it says work with your doctor, but people read the bold print and it irresponsible to put that in your suggestions. People are given drugs after the doctor see that either they have not had a change by healthy eating and exercise, or the doctor sees that the lifestyle changes aren’t going to happen for one reason or another.

      People that aren’t black can know about racism because, Tarquan, racism exists in all forms amongst all people in the world, and actually has no intrinsic affiliation to black people. In fact, your comment was racist against the author of this article. Until you understand this, perhaps you should think hard about how #9 could be a good resolution for you this year. Moreover, keep reading! If you stopped that early, you missed 90 good ideas. Hope your year is as great as I plan to make mine!
